Plus most of the travel packages you come across are voucher programs where you are required to book at least 90 days in advance and to receive the real discounts you send in a voucher with no guarantee you will actually receive the travel you are interested in. Or maybe you don’t live in the United States and to receive discounts on international travel, the origination must be from the U.S.
